Puddledock Woods offers the best of both worlds! Our unspoilt wild woodland camping and unique glamping options are complemented by a great range of quality facilities, all less than five minutes walk from the furthest point of the woodland.
Enjoy a hot outdoor shower beneath the grapevines in our purpose built outdoor shower block (a must in warmer months!), or if that’s not for you, you will find an indoor hot shower located in our washroom. We have a total of four flushing W/Cs onsite, with a table and mat provided for baby changing within the main washroom.
Hot water and drinking water are readily available (All cold taps on site dispense drinking water), and we there is both an outdoor washing up area and indoor kitchenette/utility room for the use of all of our guests. Within the kitchenette, you will also find sockets which can be used to charge devices. There is also free WiFi available in the facilities area.
In addition to these basics (Or – luxuries when you’re camping!), there is also a small shop onsite, stocking many camping essentials (marshmallows, firelighters, ice cream, tent pegs, bug repellent, cold drinks, batteries… and much more!) – We accept payment via cash, card or bank transfer.
New for 2025, Puddledock Woods now also boasts a cosy bar and guest lounge, complete with full-sized pool table! Within, we serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We are often complimented on our selection of quality ales, lagers and ciders, the majority of which are sourced locally. If that’s not for you, non-alcoholic beers, soft drinks or a warming cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate are also available!
There is a courtyard with seating and tables where guests can relax and enjoy the sun when it’s shining, located adjacent to the bar and guest lounge. Smoking is permitted on site, however we politely ask that you use the ash trays provided.
We work hard year on year to further improve and expand facilities for our guests, whilst retaining the site’s wild ethos and unique charm.
